Governance

About us

North Coast TAFE governance model

We are guided by a model consisting of:

Institute Executive

The Executive has executive management responsibility for the Institute and is the peak decision-making body on strategic and operational matters.

Institute Council

The Institute Council is a cross-section of community, industry, staff and student members who provide input on community, business and customer needs and issues.

Industry groups

Like a ‘faculty’ or ‘school’, these industry groups look after the teaching and learning within their specific industry areas.

Institute Council

The Institute Council is a cross-section of community and industry members who provide input on community, business and customer needs and issues. This important connection with stakeholders' representatives assists North Coast TAFE to improve and promote its services throughout the region.  The Council provides a high level of support and advice, particularly in the areas of planning and innovation and improving links with industry, community and other education sectors.
