The story of TAFE North Coast, leading provider of vocational training on the north coast of NSW, has been shaped by the communities it has served since 1928.
While our home is a 700 kilometre stretch of hinterland from Great Lakes in the south, to Kingscliff (near the Queensland border) in the north we are fast building a solid reputation, nationally and globally, for our online and flexible delivery options.
We are driven by a sense of community and the idea that strong relationships with students and employers is essential for success; so, our story is one of listening, learning, changing and responding to the needs of individual customers.
Part of this heritage comes from the six proud indigenous communities – the Bundjalung, Yaegl, Gumbaynggirr, Dunghutti, Biripi and Worimi – who share their country with us.
Our campus locations in Kingscliff, Grafton, Murwillumbah, Coffs Harbour, Lismore, Port Macquarie, Great Lakes, Taree, Wauchope, Kempsey, Macksville, Casino, Wollongbar, Ballina and Maclean are welcoming centres of vibrant community activity and learning.
With more than 600 courses on offer, and more than 45,000 students enrolled each year, our aim is to help people learn the skills and gain the qualifications they need to land their dream job regardless of whether they choose to study online, in the community, or through a campus.
While surveys show that TAFE North Coast enjoys excellent overall satisfaction ratings with students (90.3%) we are determined to reach ever higher goals in this area by delivering outstanding service and a learning experience that is unique and personal to each customer.
