About TAFE NSW Grafton

TAFE NSW Grafton is an important part of the Clarence Valley community, offering students an ideal place to study and live.

Our campus features purpose built trades facilities including a painting and decorating showcase, a large automotive garage, specially fitted electrotechnology rooms, and multiple welding and metal work bays with a strong focus on safety. We also have an advanced music and screen facility, child studies and childcare centre, a restaurant-sized kitchen and on-campus restaurant, multiple IT labs, and a separate hair and beauty salon open to the public.

The township of Grafton sits on the banks of the beautiful Clarence River in the Bundjalung Aboriginal nation, and is known for its jacaranda trees, water sports and friendly country feel.

  • Last week Grafton TAFE hosted two fantastic community events celebrating Mental Health Month and also raising funds for the ‘Buy a Bale’ charity. A big thankyou to our Community Services students for organising the ‘Stress Less Celebration’ and for hosting information and activity stalls to promote the 10 tips to stress less. Thanks also go to our Music and Sound Production students for their performance, and our Hospitality students for their delicious treats. Through the morning tea activity we raised $341 for our drought stricken farmers (Well done!) Check out these snaps from last Wednesday :) #MentalHealthMonth #ShareTheJourney #BuyABale
