TAFE NSW Great Lakes is an innovative and modern campus located at the Great Lakes Joint Education Campus in Tuncurry. Established in 2001, our campus shares the site and some facilities with a junior and senior college, allowing specialised training across a wide range of ages and skills.
Here you will find a nursing practical room, retail skills centre, travel centre, carpentry and joinery workshop, multi media lab, a business model office, and the Gallery Corridor which hosts several art exhibitions every year. The campus has a range of student amenities including BBQ areas and a pizza oven attached to an Aboriginal Meeting Place.
Our campus sits on the traditional lands of the Worimi Aboriginal people, surrounded by coastal bushland, sparkling waterways and iconic beaches of the Great Lakes.

Mental Health Month is celebrated each year in the month of October in NSW. This awareness month encourages all of us to think about our mental health and wellbeing, regardless of whether we may have a lived experience of mental illness or not. This month also gives us the opportunity to understand the importance of mental health in our everyday lives and encourages help seeking behaviours when needed.
This year the theme for Mental Health Month is Share the Journey
