We were invited to tour the Willing and Able facilities in Jindalee Rd today and it has to be Port Macquarie's best kept secret!! :)
For all you bargain hunters and penny-saving students, don't miss the opportunity to call in and say 'hi' to Craig and Bev at the Clothing Clearance - they've said all downstairs fashions are going for $2 per item. That won't break the bank (and they are a not for profit organisation - *warm fuzzies*).
You can visit their page here: https://www.facebook.com/WillingandAbleFoundation?fref=ts
If you're feeling peckish, get on down to the canteen area for a free sausage sizzle in celebration of Harmony Day (which is actually this Saturday, but we're keen!).
In celebration of the multiculturalism within our community, students and staff share a lunch, music and conversation together at the Port Macquarie TAFE.
At North Coast TAFE, we're excited by innovation, inspiration and imagination. That's why we're keen to support a day of discovery in The Big Chat, including presentations, workshops, performances and discussions exploring what it means to be older in modern society.
The Big Chat theme was inspired by gerontologist Dr Gene Cohen, who said: “Art is like chocolate for the brain".
Get your 'brain chocolate' juices flowing next Monday 23 March from 9:30am to 4:30pm at Port Macquarie's The Glasshouse.
