About our Taree campus

Taree TAFE Campus is a well-resourced education and training centre, with up to 4,000 students and more than 100 staff. We offer a personal approach to study, a range of support services for students including learning and disability support.

The campus has state-of-the-art facilities including a horticultural glass house, a metals and engineering 3D printer which is available for commercial use and training, full automotive workshops, integrated childcare learning facilities for community playgroups, and an IT CISCO Training Centre.

Taree is the commercial centre for the Manning Valley, surrounded by rich river flats and undulating hills, with agricultural land reaching to the beaches. Taree, in the Biripai Aboriginal nation, is a great place to live and study, offering a city environment with a country feel.

If you’re looking to enter the workforce armed with invaluable experience and practical skills, check out the courses available at our Taree TAFE Campus.

  • The 2016 TAFE NSW Gili Awards were held on 26th May 2016 (Coincided with the 19th Annual National Sorry Day). It was such an amazing event being surrounded by such inspirational Aboriginal Staff and Students. The purpose of the TAFE NSW Gili Awards is to acknowledge the outstanding achievements of Aboriginal Students; the contribution and dedication of TAFE NSW Staff and the outcomes of TAFE NSW Engagement with industry, schools and Aboriginal Communities. A special acknowledgment must go to our North Coast Institute representative Brett Allen who was presented with a Student Achievement Award. We are very proud! Brett was joined by family to celebrate this wonderful achievement. #aboriginaleducation #atsi #exellence #study #giliawards #tafensw #northcoasttafe #tareetafe #sydney #aboriginal #studentaward
