Are you looking to start your own maintenance business or looking for a career in construction? Our Certificate I in Construction could be the course for you. This course will lay the foundations for further study in construction and give you the skills you need for undertaking basic maintenance work. It will equip you with an understanding of the construction industry's culture, workplace expectations and job roles. You will learn skills in various areas including work health and safety, organisation structure, work planning, communication and basic use of tools.Studying this course through North Coast TAFE ensures you will be learning from professional course facilitators with strong industry connections.
Before enrolling in this course you must successfully complete the WHS Induction Training (White Card) which will allow you entry into a construction worksite.
A TAFE NSW Certificate IV or Diploma could give you up 6 to 12 months advanced standing in a university degree and some Advanced Diplomas offer even more credit.
