If you are in the automotive industry and have a strong desire to gain an understanding of emission controls, engine management and mechanical fundamentals, the Certificate II in Automotive Exhaust System Technology provides the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge within exhaust system scope. Industry involvement in the development of this course means you will study a specific skillset to suit identified business needs. This Certificate suits people looking to focus on one area of automotive technical skill and be recognised for that achievement.

The course is delivered both on-campus and in the workplace, by experienced, qualified staff and you will learn skills in areas specific to exhaust technologies and repair, including fabrication, emissions systems, and workplace procedure skills, qualifying you to understand, assess and repair exhausts.

This qualification is suitable for an Australian traineeship pathway.
