Are you currently working or seeking work in a pharmacy? Our Certificate II in Community Pharmacy is ideal for those either completely or relatively new to the industry.
We will teach you how to; serve and interact with customers, merchandise products, perform stock control and communicate with customers; this includes how to identify needs before referring customers to more senior staff for specialist advice.

After attaining this qualification you will have the skills to become a Pharmacy Assistant; respond to and assist customers with a defined range of Pharmacy products and accept prescriptions. You will gain an understanding of the legislative framework, regulation and protocols that apply to Community Pharmacies. You will also learn how to operate a point of sale area, maintain stock levels and displays and organise and maintain work areas.

This qualification is suitable for an Australian traineeship pathway, including a school based traineeship.
