Are you physically fit, alert and responsible? Are you seeking work in the security industry? Our Certificate II in Security Operations may be the perfect course for you. This course will equip you with the skills required to take on roles where you protect, watch or guard premises, or, where you are responsible for providing security and safety in public places or at functions.Through this course, you will learn to communicate in the security industry, follow procedures, respond to security risk situations, work as part of a security team, control access to premises and to operate basic security equipment. You will also develop a range of other valuable skills and knowledge that you will be able to apply in a security role.Studying this course through North Coast TAFE ensures you will be trained by professionals with vast industry experience and strong industry connections. Training with North Coast TAFE also ensures you will be receiving your nationally recognised qualification from a reputable and fully-compliant provider. A TAFE NSW Certificate IV or Diploma could give you up 6 to 12 months advanced standing in a university degree and some Advanced Diplomas offer even more credit.
