About the course

Course Number: LMT20507-01V03

Do you have a creative flair and an interest in working in the textiles industry? Our Certificate II in Textile Fabrication has been developed for trainees wishing to begin their studies, while gaining practical experience.

Our staff regularly consult with industry, bring professional knowledge and skills and their own industry experience to tailor each trainee's individual learning plan to meet the needs of the workplace. In addition, our staff work closely with workplace supervisors to create a smooth and efficient learning experience for trainees. Participants throughout the course of their studies have the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in the operations of textile fabrication enterprises in a fully supported workplace environment.

Successful graduates will be able to perform a limited range of technical and operational tasks within a production environment and be eligible to enrol in the Certificate III Textile Fabrication or other relevant manufacturing qualifications.

Regular communication with all parties ensures trainees and workplace supervisors are fully informed of the training and workplace assessment in progress throughout the traineeship.

North Coast TAFE offers a wide choice of courses, some that attract government subsidies and some that do not. The fees payable will vary, depending on your personal circumstances, your study history and the course you choose.

Calculate fees

Your government subsidised fee, and your eligibility for concessions, exemptions and scholarships, are all calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process.

The 2017 subsidised fees indicated on this page are indicative only and based on 2016 fees. The state government may make some small changes to fees and subsidies for 2017 enrolments and we will update our site if and when that happens.
