Our Certificate III in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care could be the course for you. With a focus on culturally appropriate application, during this course you will develop valuable skills in undertaking health care assessments, assisting with basic health screening, identifying community health issues, supporting the safe use of medications, and various other fundamental skills. These skills will allow you to work effectively in a rewarding role as an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health care worker, providing non-clinical services. Assistant Aboriginal health worker or Torres Strait Islander health worker
A TAFE NSW Certificate IV or Diploma could give you up 6 to 12 months advanced standing in a university degree and some Advanced Diplomas offer even more credit.

Note: Some short, licensing or compliance courses, eg Food Safety for Supervisors or First Aid are not granted RPL as demonstrated competency is required by regulatory authorities.
