About the course

Course Number: AHC30216-01V01

Are you already in the agriculture area, or do you have a strong interest in the dairy sector?  Our Certificate III Agriculture (Dairy) is for people already employed in or wishing to enter the agriculture industry in the dairy sector. It is the qualification that helps you develop the knowledge and skills required of skilled personnel on dairy farms to perform a wide range of agricultural operations independently or as part of a team.

The program is particularly suited to the needs of dairy apprentice/trainees and existing workers who wish to have their competencies recognised. After completing this course you will be able to coordinate milking operations, establish pastures and crops for livestock production, maintain livestock health and wellbeing, prepare and apply chemicals safely and other dairy farm related tasks that allow you to operate under limited supervision on farms and also in other agricultural services industries.

North Coast TAFE offers a wide choice of courses, some that attract government subsidies and some that do not. The fees payable will vary, depending on your personal circumstances, your study history and the course you choose.

Calculate fees

Your government subsidised fee, and your eligibility for concessions, exemptions and scholarships, are all calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process.

The 2017 subsidised fees indicated on this page are indicative only and based on 2016 fees. The state government may make some small changes to fees and subsidies for 2017 enrolments and we will update our site if and when that happens.
