If you are interested in a career as a veterinary nurse, but have no prior experience working in the industry, the Certificate III in Animal Studies is the perfect place to start.

Alongside course work, you will gain invaluable practical experience by completing a minimum of eight hours per week (paid or voluntary work) in a veterinary clinic for the 12-month duration of the course, with career options in animal attendance.

Upon successful completion, students will have the opportunity to enrol in the second year program to complete the Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing qualification.

Work Placement
Minimum of 8 hours per week (paid or voluntary) in a veterinary clinic for the 12-month duration of the course.

This qualification is suitable for an Australian traineeship pathway.
