About the course

Course Number: BSB30415R1-01V01

Do you have great attention to detail and enjoy working at the hub of a business environment? Our Certificate III Business Administration suits those wanting to begin a career in administration, looking to up-skill proficiencies they previously learned on the job, or those looking for a career change. Business administration is required across all industries and the skills learned in the course are easily transferrable to a variety of roles. We consult with local employers to see what they require in a good employee and teach the skills identified. Upon successful completion, students will be eligible for intermediate-level administrative roles, including receptionist, clerical and data entry positions.

The course is designed to be flexible, combining class and home study with simulated workplace learning. The Certificate is designed to cover broad use of Microsoft Office. Successful graduates will be able to apply for a range of further certificates to enhance their skills.

Prospective students should speak with the course coordinator to ensure they have the appropriate underpinning skills in administration for this level of qualification. Students will require a basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel and be able to use a computer at a beginner level.
