You will also have the opportunity to select from a range of electives where, depending on your selection, may cover skills such as performing tests, preparing samples for testing, presenting data, performing biological procedures, and aseptic techniques. You do need to have, or be able to attain, a level of literacy and numeracy that will help you complete your course and ultimately to work in your chosen field. Students who complete this qualification level will have developed a range of technical and communication skills that will enable them to complete mostly routine tasks and interpret and act on information available to them.
