Are you looking to take your interest in textiles further? The Certificate III in Textile Fabrication suits those interested in assembling and fabricating textile products. Our staff regularly consult with industry, bring professional knowledge and skills and their own industry experience to tailor each trainee's individual learning plans to meet the needs of the workplace.Trainees will develop skills and knowledge in the application of specialised technical, operational and supervisory skills within textile fabrication enterprises. Training in a workplace environment will equip you with a range of complimentary team work, communication, planning and organising, problem solving, self-initiative, technology and learning skills.The Certificate III reflects vocational outcomes for those performing supervision roles, specialised technical tasks or multi-skilled roles within a production environment.
North Coast TAFE wants you to know that while this qualification has no formal entry requirements, we do want you to succeed, so we are providing information about the skills and knowledge that would help you complete this qualification. You do need to have, or be able to attain, a level of literacy and numeracy that will help you complete your course and ultimately to work in your chosen field. Students who complete this qualification level will have developed a range of technical and communication skills that will enable them to complete mostly routine tasks and interpret and act on information available to them. They will provide solutions to predictable and sometimes unpredictable problems and in a work setting may take some responsibility for the work of others.North Coast TAFE can provide support for reading, writing, maths and English Language. IV in Textile Technology and Production, MSA41108 Certificate IV in Competitive
Manufacturing, or other relevant manufacturing qualifications.
Depending on your choice of electives, you may be eligible to receive the
LMT20507 Certificate II in Textile Fabrication (19525).

A TAFE NSW Certificate IV or Diploma could give you up 6 to 12 months advanced standing in a university degree and some Advanced Diplomas offer even more credit.
