Are you an analytical person, who thrives at problem solving? The Certificate IV in Business is suited to those working as administrators or project officers. In this role, individuals use well-developed skills and a broad knowledge base to apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance, with some limited responsibility for the output of others.The course delivery is flexible, supervised by our teachers, all of whom have industry-relevant skills. Students will be assessed on their portfolios, exams, demonstrations, observations, role plays, presentations, projects and case studies. To enrol, students are required to be of a minimum age of 17.

You do need to have, or be able to attain, a level of literacy and numeracy that will help you complete your course and ultimately to work in your chosen field. Students who complete this qualification level will have a broad range of skills and knowledge that can be applied to specialised and/or skilled work areas. A TAFE NSW Certificate IV or Diploma could give you up 6 to 12 months advanced standing in a university degree and some Advanced Diplomas offer even more credit.

Working with one of our RPL assessors we’ll review your life and work experiences as well as any previous study you may have done to confirm just what we can match up with your current course of study.
Note: Some short, licensing or compliance courses, eg Food Safety for Supervisors or First Aid are not granted RPL as demonstrated competency is required by regulatory authorities.
