Are you always coming up with new ideas and would love to bring them to life?  The Certificate IV in Design is for creative thinking people and for those who like to create trends rather than follow them. This course suits people with an interest in pursuing a dynamic, creative career in graphic design, interior design, fashion design or product design.

Our teachers are highly trained professionals in their fields of practice and offer education and training options to enrich and empower your creative and professional development. Staff within the faculty maintain industry profiles and many are recognised at national and international levels. Employment growth and international opportunities make this industry very appealing.

Studying this course will enable you to incorporate the elements and principles of design into real world industry scenarios. Our spacious design studios are fully equipped with current industry standard software and hardware. This course is an introduction to a range of different design disciplines such as graphic, interior, photo-imaging, fashion or illustration. It will provide you with broad fundamental skills in design, with an emphasis on exploration and experimentation with the design process.

Students will be expected to complete learning material outside of class hours, in the library or at home. Upon graduation, you will have created a portfolio which includes a comprehensive range of professional samples of your work and you can enrol in either the Diploma of Graphic Design, Diploma of Fashion Design or the Diploma of Interior Design.
