Are you looking to take your experience in drafting to the next level? Our Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting provides education in industry-recognised drafting, using computer-aided drawing software. Successful graduates will have a higher-level Industry qualification, improved workplace satisfaction and be eligible for higher wages.This course is delivered in the workplace and face-to-face at a North Coast TAFE campus by our qualified teachers; all of whom have direct industry connections and will teach you skills and knowledge that are relevant to industry and improve your prospects for promotion.This Certificate best suits a practical, hands-on person with a desire to improve, achieve higher level skills, or who is looking to gain a promotion. Applicants must be working in the industry, have had significant industry experience, or be under an apprenticeship contract.

Pathways from the qualification
Further training pathways from this qualification include the MSA50108 Diploma
of Manufacturing Technology (Structural Steel Detailing stream) or the MEM50211
Diploma of Engineering - Technical.
Students who exit this course early may be eligible to receive a Certificate III
(course number 19070) or Certificate IV (19071) in Manufacturing Technology.
Both qualifications are in the MSA07, Manufacturing Training Package.
A TAFE NSW Certificate IV or Diploma could give you up 6 to 12 months advanced standing in a university degree and some Advanced Diplomas offer even more credit.
