Are you looking for a career working in the operational epicentre of a business? Our Certificate IV in Human Resources suits students interested in industrial relations, organisational change management and building workforce capability. The course has been developed in consultation with the industry, ensuring it is up-to-date and relevant to the sector and our teachers are highly-qualified professionals with strong experience and good industry networks. Upon successful completion of the course, students have the opportunity to further their studies, or seek employment opportunities in support roles for workforce development, human resources, payroll and learning and development.This is a fully-facilitated workshop, online distance program, using a learning management system and virtual classrooms. Class-based study may also be available in our flexible learning classroom. This course involves a combination of common business units with specialist units in human resources and may offer a pathway to university. For applicants who have completed a Certificate III Business Admin, or who have relevant work experience, there are opportunities to secure a traineeship.Applicants must complete a standard NCIT application form and will be screened to ensure they have relevant life/work experience to successfully complete the course.
There are no entry requirements for this qualification however applicants must complete a standard NC TAFE application form. North Coast TAFE wants you to know that while this qualification has no formal entry requirements, we do want you to succeed, so we are providing information about the skills and knowledge that would help you perform this qualification. You do need to have, or be able to attain, a level of literacy and numeracy that will help you complete your course and ultimately to work in your chosen field. Students who complete this qualification level will have a broad range of skills and knowledge that can be applied to specialised and/or skilled work areas. They will be able to identify, analyse, compare and act on information from a range of sources and have a limited responsibility for the organisation of others.North Coast TAFE can provide support for reading, writing, maths and English Language. Certificate IV Business, Certificate IV Business Admininstration, Certificate IV in Leadership and Management. Some universities such as UWS offer immediate entry into relevant bachelor degrees for TAFE NSW graduates who have successfully completed a relevant Certificate IV qualification.
Job roles could include human resources assistants, human resources coordinators, human resources administrators and payroll officers.
A TAFE NSW Certificate IV or Diploma could give you up 6 to 12 months advanced standing in a university degree and some Advanced Diplomas offer even more credit.
