Are you a passionate production horticulturalist looking to develop post-trade capabilities and knowledge to become a specialist within the industry? The Certificate IV in Production Horticulture covers a wide variety of skills and has been developed in consultation with industry employers.

The Certificate is campus and/or work-based and you will learn about maintaining safe working conditions, as well as skills from selected areas, such as: plant production and nutrition, soils and growing media, chemicals use, food safety systems, organic production, irrigation, and business and work practices.
Students can be trainees and graduates can seek employment as team leaders or supervisors. It is recommended that students have existing horticultural experience and/or employment. Due to the nature of the industry, physical fitness is required.

This qualification is suitable for an Australian traineeship pathway.
