About the course

Course Number: BSB41515-01V03

This course is designed to equip you with the skills to become an effective member of a project team.  You will learn how to scope a project to ensure its viability and success and apply techniques that will ensure you have the right people on a project and the right resources at the right time to produce a quality outcome.

You do not need to be a project manager at the time of undertaking the course, however you will find it beneficial if you have worked on a project in the past or are currently working on a project at the moment. If you haven't done this in your workplace, consider if you have worked on a project in your local community or sporting club. Don't worry if you don't have a project at the time of enrolment our workshop focus and virtual classroom sessions can provide you with a simulated project activity.
Your course may involve attendance of set workshops as well as using a learning management system and participating in virtual classrooms.  The course is practical in nature and will require you to work on a project idea that encompasses each area of the project life cycle.

This qualification is suitable for an Australian traineeship pathway.
