The need for qualified child care workers in Australia is at an all-time high, so if you’re looking to get qualified in an area where the work is rewarding, career opportunities are good  and you are ready to the next step in your career then our Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care is for you.

We will prepare you to work in a range of early childhood settings with children 0 - 5 years.  You will learn about the intellectual, social, emotional, physical and educational needs of children, how to support their rights and safety, and the wellbeing of infants. You will be qualified to supervise staff and volunteers and equipped with necessary skills to plan, implement and manage programs in accordance with relevant legislation, standards and duty of care requirements
You will receive a huge amount of support in various ways, flexible delivery arrangements, and all your mandatory work placement organised for you.
Learn from qualified early childhood educators with current skills, knowledge and strong links to industry and gain the skills to work in a growing industry with great career opportunities.  The industry experience gives you invaluable real-life skills, so you graduate ready to step into a job or step up into a higher position.

This qualification is suitable for an Australian traineeship pathway. 

Work Placement

A minimum of 240 hours of work placement is required to be completed in a licensed and regulated child care environment with children aged 0-5 years.

Your work placement will be arranged for you in your geographic area, however if you currently work in a regulated childcare you can complete you work placement in this setting.
