Are you a natural creative thinker with artistic flair? Our nationally recognised Diploma of Graphic Design is taught by teachers with real industry experience, who will help you find your creative niche in the graphic design landscape. This course will teach you the concepts of graphic design and its application in the contemporary design world. You will learn how to use skills, tools and processes to produce visual communication through creative graphic images for print reproduction and digital media. You will learn to apply design theory using applications, including the Adobe Creative Suite, to produce creative design solutions that answer client design briefs. You will learn practical skills, including technical and conceptual design, producing finished art; the impact of colour on design dimensions; typography; graphic design skills; layout techniques; folio presentation; and more. Diploma of Graphic Design graduates will have the skills to work as Junior Graphic Designers, or may choose to continue their studies and complete the Advanced Diploma of Graphic Design.
