About the course

Course Number: BSB50615R2-01V01

This course is designed for people who aspire to lead the human resource management functions of an organisation. With so much changing in the workforce today, you can become a critical player in organisations that are undergoing mergers and rationalisations or are growing and being reshaped.
To enrol in this course you will need significant skills in project management or have completed the Certificate IV in Project Management.

You will gain skills and knowledge in workforce planning strategies, HR and compliance systems, performance management systems, work health and safety and industrial relations regulations - becoming a lynchpin in the management team.
The Diploma of Human Resource Management is recognised by industry as the preferred vocational qualification for human resource managers, senior human resources officers, human resources consultants or human resources and change managers – an area where jobs are plentiful.
You can work in discrete units or business areas focused on human resource functions such as workforce planning, recruitment, performance management or remuneration. The choice is wide and dynamic.

A background in Human Resources or completion of the Cert IV Human Resources is preferred. Contact the campus to discuss these requirements.
This is a great course if you are looking to supplement existing skills and knowledge of business with HR specific skills. We recommend that you are currently working in a human resource setting and can access the organisation's strategic goals, policies and procedures and other key HR staff.

This qualification is suitable for an Australian traineeship pathway.
