Would you like to become an independent high pressure water jetting operator? TAFE NSW's Operate a High Pressure Water Jetting System Skill Set will provide you with technical competence in high pressure water jetting, as well as the ability to work safely and self-sufficiently within a worksite. You will learn to interpret technical drawings and check a drawing against job requirements, as well as to check the job scope, location and requirements with the job owner, and obtain required permits. You will also learn to ensure you have adequate equipment (including PPE) for the job, check that work team members comply with site and job competency requirements, and recognise and control job and site-specific hazards. Operational skills include how to safely start up a high pressure water jetting system, operate the equipment while maintaining the correct line of sight, shut down the equipment and complete required paperwork. You will also learn how to service, inspect and store equipment and restock running spares and consumables. This course meets the minimum industry requirements for independent high pressure water jetting jobs across a variety of worksite environments.

North Coast TAFE offers a wide choice of courses, some that attract government subsidies and some that do not. The fees payable will vary, depending on your personal circumstances, your study history and the course you choose.

Calculate fees

Your government subsidised fee, and your eligibility for concessions, exemptions and scholarships, are all calculated and confirmed during the enrolment process.

The 2017 subsidised fees indicated on this page are indicative only and based on 2016 fees. The state government may make some small changes to fees and subsidies for 2017 enrolments and we will update our site if and when that happens.
