3D modelling of assemblies using the AutoCAD inventor program. This course is aimed at exiting apprentices, tradesman and any staff involved in drafting, design and programming. It would be preferable that the participants have some experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and have resonable computer skills and a basic knowledge of Computer Aided Drafting. Students will be able to download this program for free onto their own computers from the Autodesk site as an educational only version. 3D modelling is used across a range of engineering fields. The program is predominantly for design and drawing parts, machinery and structural steel and can be used to create files to drive 3D printing, laser/water jet cutting machinery and routers. Additional home practice will be required.

A TAFE NSW Certificate IV or Diploma could give you up 6 to 12 months advanced standing in a university degree and some Advanced Diplomas offer even more credit.
