Looking to gain some valuable knowledge of the health and aged care industry? This course is comprised of 4 units from the Certificate III in Individual Support; it will allow you to develop skills in infection control measures, the safe manual handling of people, appropriate communication and first aid. Furthermore, it will enhance your knowledge and understanding of empowerment and consumer-directed planning.

If after completing this course you find that health and aged care is the industry for you, you can go on to further study of the Certificate III in Individual Support where the 4 units of competency covered by this course will be recognised. This part-qualification is your opportunity to gain exposure to the health and aged care industry.
