This course is the assessment, both theory and practical for students wishing to obtain their pressure welding certificates as per AS1796. This Assessment Program is designed for experienced welders working or seeking employment in the manufacture or repair of boiler, pressure vessel, pressure piping or high quality welded applications. This program is used for assessment of those who have completed the Statement of Attainment 17431 Welding to AS1796 Certification 1-9. Successful students (in this program) may seek recognition from the Welding Technology Institute of Australia (WTIA) for a given welding certificate/s (1-9) as per assessments undertaken.
