This short course is created for students with limited or no Adobe Illustrator skills and will walk through the basics of this design application, structured around industry skills and examples. Our experienced, industry current trainers, will guide you to develop skills and techniques. We will analyse designs created in Adobe Illustrator, recreate designs and then guide you to create your own unique designs. You will learn about the reasons and benefits of creating certain designs in this application. Some examples of work we will be touching on in the introduction will be the creation of logos, maps, patterns, illustration and image manipulation. A great mix of learning and design in an essential tool for the Design industry.This short course is skills based, there are no assessments. Applicants are advised that moderate general computer skills are required. No specific Adobe Illustrator skills are necessary as a prerequisite.This short course is an introduction to the basics of Adobe Illustrator, including a walkthrough of the tools and applications that Illustrator is used for in the Design Industry. During this level 1 course you will undertake a variety of tasks based around industry scenarios
