This course provides the skills and knowledge for individuals to perform digital literacy tasks using a personal computer and learn an intermediate level of knowledge for the Microsoft Excel software application.Classroom environment with one desktop computer per participant and course notes will be provided.Topics include:* More on formulae (covered extensively in this course)- Inputting formulae- +/*-- Using Brackets in formulae- Autosum- Copying formulae:relative addresses- making components of a formula absolute- isolating variables and making them absolute references in formulae - percentages- formulae across sheets* Functions- average, maximum, minimum and count functions and awareness of other functions- the IF function* Charts (graphs)- Creating and customising charts- Using Excel for database management* Sorts* Filters and customised filters- Borders and shading- Headers and footers- Comments- Freezing titles- Replace and find

A TAFE NSW Certificate IV or Diploma could give you up 6 to 12 months advanced standing in a university degree and some Advanced Diplomas offer even more credit.
