Julie Logan:
Julie has worked and trained in aviation for over 20 years and has extensive experience in the industry. She has performed in a wide range of roles including reservations, ground services, passenger screening, checked bag screening and security operations and has expert knowledge of systems and procedures. Julie currently works as an airport security supervisor, passenger screener and trainer for MSS Security at Ballina Byron Gateway Airport where she screens passengers for Virgin and Jetstar flights. She has also been instrumental in the setup of new screening locations throughout NSW and Qld and in providing training for growing airports.

Andrew Trease:
Andrew has been in the aviation industry since 1998 with particular involvement in the general aviation and flying training sectors. He has worked out of Bankstown, Port Macquarie, Lismore and Ballina Byron Airports in roles that include chief pilot, commercial pilot, chief flying instructor and Drug and Alcohol Management Plan (DAMP) supervisor. Typical operations for Andrew include charter flights, scenic flights, flying training, aeroplane flight reviews for existing pilots, and aerial photography and spotting.  He is also a co-founder of Aussie Air Charter and Training flying school. Sharing his extensive knowledge and excitement for the aviation industry is Andrew's passion.

Katie Johnston:
Katie started her aviation career in 2000 with employment at the Newcastle Call Centre for a new airline at the time: Impulse Airlines. In 2001 she moved to a position as a flight attendant with the company. Since then, she has travelled domestically and internationally, lived in four different states and continued her career flying with not only Impulse Airlines, but also Qantas Link, Jetstar and Qantas Domestic. Katie thoroughly enjoys her work and feels very lucky to be able to experience her dream job. Aviation as a whole is Katie’s passion and she hopes that, through her experience, she can pass this passion on to students who share the same interests.

Katie Devitt:
Kathy has been employed in the Travel and Aviation Industry since leaving school. From front line customer service roles with Qantas through to training management positions for Jetstar, Kathy has comprehensive experience in airport operational requirements. Kathy was the Training Officer for the start-up for Jetstar Airways in 2004, working to deliver customer service training to all domestic Jetstar ports. With the expansion of the airline, she then travelled extensively overseas to Asia and New Zealand to train and support the new ports. Kathy currently works at the Gold Coast Airport as a Supervisor/Trainer for the Air Asia X and Hong Kong Airlines contracts.
