  • Some TAFE students may be eligible for a free travel pass to and from home and TAFE. TAFE students are eligible if: • They are a resident of NSW or an overseas student eligible for free government education. •They are under 18 years of age at 1 January of the year of application. •They are enrolled in a full-time TAFE course for a minimum of 16 hours per week. •They are not employed. •The walking distance from home to TAFE is 3.2 km or further. •They attend the closest TAFE where enrolment is available.

  • NSW tertiary students are eligible to apply for concession fares in NSW if they are enrolled full-time in either: •an accredited course of study with a registered higher education provider, or •a Vocational Education and Training (VET) accredited course. Tertiary students must also be an Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia. A full-time student means: •a university student who is considered to be enrolled on a full-time basis by their university, or •a student enrolled in an accredited course of study requiring at least 16 hours per week of classes for a continuous period of at least six weeks. Tertiary students with a disability that are enrolled part-time may also be eligible.

Saver Plus offers: •up to $500 in matched savings for education costs •fun, free and informal financial education workshops •assistance and support from a Saver Plus coordinator to establish a savings goal and develop a savings habit. Participants make regular deposits towards a savings goal over a 10-month period and attend workshops to build their financial management skills. When participants reach their savings goal, ANZ matches the amount – up to $500 – towards education costs including uniforms, text books, laptops, sports equipment, music tuition, TAFE or apprenticeship costs, and much more.

  • Thank you to those who supported our sausage sizzle today! Remember, this week as part of our Student Orientation we will have FREE morning tea everyday from 10am-11am in Student Central and FREE zooper doopers from 12noon-1pm. Next week to finish our Student Orientation for Semester 1, on Tuesday 19 February from 12noon we will have a FREE BBQ with yummy cupcakes and information stalls 😊 Hope to see you there!
