Over 200 staff recognised at TAFE staff achievement awards

Over 200 staff members from many parts of North Coast TAFE were recognised with the theme of "we love what you do" at the 2014 North Coast TAFE Staff Achievement Awards Dinner on Tuesday 11 November.

The Osprey Restaurant at Coffs Harbour Education Campus was filled with colour and fun as some 200 staff members nominated in seven award categories were acknowledged for their achievements in living and breathing the ‘Values in Action’ from the North Coast TAFE Charter.

North Coast TAFE students, with the support of their teachers, contributed significantly to the evening by theming the event, cooking a three course meal and serving the guests. Uncle Tony Perkins presented a highly engaging Welcome to Country, and the event was attended by several of North Coast TAFE's Institute Advisory Council.

The overall Institute Director's Award for Excellence went to Community Relations Officer for Manning/Great Lakes, Lynette Connors, for delivering great experiences for our customers, being an innovator, moving with the changes in North Coast TAFE, sharing technological expertise generously and being infectious in her curiosity to find new ways to engage with customers.
